Status of Exact Nonrelativistic 3N Calculations

Numerically precise solutions of Faddeev equations for 3N bound and scattering states are presented. The dynamical input are either conventional NN and 3N forces or nuclear forces derived from chiral perturbation theory. Successes and failures in relation to data of the present day conventional picture and promising results of the chiral approach are presented. Applications to photon induced processes on 3He are briefly described.
